It’s all about fringe and weird vests at Coachella

COACHELLA is in full swing over in California.

And the music and arts festival is the perfect opportunity to have a little fun with your outfit.
But why just jazz things up with some oversized sunglasses and a fun hat?
Blue skies people. Nothing is off limits. “Slutty Pocahontas” is the look and punters are going balls to the wall on it.
Just look at our very own Cody Simpson. He and girlfriend Gigi Hadid swung by their local Spotlight and
spent the days leading up to the festival hot-glue-gunning leather fringe onto everything they own.

Keep in mind, it’s summer over in California — with temperatures reaching 30 degrees.
Statement ponchos and vests serve no purpose in everyday life, and at a sweaty festival surrounded by thousands of people, swathing yourself in extra fabric is a rubbish idea.
TOP TIP: Always be cautious around people wearing fringe. You risk being violently lashed in the face and/or strangled.
Fergie doesn’t care about the face of anyone within a seven metre radius.

But honestly, what else are you supposed to wear when hitching a ride in a yellow convertible Hummer with Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin?
Because that’s what 40-year-old Fergie was doing. Just shooting the breeze with the two Hollywood teens.

Another thing to consider is how you coordinate your outfit with your posse’s.
It’s important for the group to decide on a firm style and colour palette — and then shake it up with slight variations. Just like Diane Keaton, Bette Midler and Goldie Hawn in the final scene of The First Wives Club.
