Foreign-owned shops close in Joburg amid fears of attacks

According to reports by SA media, a number of shops owned by foreigners have closed their shops in the Johannesburg CBD area after allegedly receiving threats from a mob. The group, who are said to be Zulu boys, threatened to attack any shops that remained open. They recently looted many shops in Durban and killed about 10 foreign immigrants, including Nigerians.
