Eagles call-up excites Ighalo

watford striker, Jude Ighalo, has said he is excited with his first senior national team call up.
The former U-20 player is a part of the 28 players invited for the March 26 and 29 friendly matches against Boliva and South Africa in Uyo and Nelspruit respectively.
The 25-year-old tweeted on Tuesday, “Happy to be back in the squad for tonight’s game and my call up to the Nigeria national team. God is faithful.”
Ighalo, who has scored 17 goals for Watford in 27 league appearances this season, was a part of the team to Wigan Athletics on Tuesday night.
Before Tuesday’s match, he last featured for the club against Fulham on March 3 after recovering from an injury.
Meanwhile, Hapoel Beer Sheva midfielder, John Ogu, and West Brom forward, Brown Ideye, have expressed their delights at earning a return to the national team.
Ogu, who praised the Eagles coaching team for believing in him, tweeted on Tuesday, “Thank you to the NFF, coaches, and my club Hapoel Beer Sheva for believing in me and also to my fans for your prayers. Time to Fight.
“Thank You great GOD for this great opportunity to represent my country again. Always ready to fight. #Blessed.”
Ideye, who has scored nine goals since joining West Brom, said, “So happy to be back with the national team. #supereagles #keepbelieving.”
